UNIDO ITPO, Italy in cooperation with UNIDO HQs and with the Legacoop is implementing a project of technical cooperation for the fishery sector of four Western African countries: Mauritania, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea. The project aims to facilitate the access to the global market for local entrepreneurs and is supported by STDF (Standard and Trade Development Facility), a branch of the WTO (World Trade Organization), based in Geneva.
Within this framework, UNIDO ITPO Italy is organizing the Economic Forum “Opportunités de partenariats dans le secteur de la pêche en Afrique de l’Ouest”, which will be held in Legacoop premises (Rome, via Guattani 9, Sala Basevi) on 16th May 2017 at 9:30 hrs.
The Forum is aimed at deepening the existing opportunities in the fishery sector in 4 West African Countries (Senegal, Mauritania, Guinea and Ivory Coast), as well as at meeting local companies (see the corresponding list) involved in this sector, through a dedicated BtoB session in the afternoon. It’s a unique opportunity for the operators involved in the entire value chain, such as producers, importers, potential investors and technology providers (cold chain, fish processing and packaging, fish storage, drying systems, boat construction, fishing tools, tanks etc…).
